Tax collection up as use of EBMs gains momentum
Electronic Billing Machines (EBMs) have helped increase tax collection by 5%, Richard Tusabe, the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) commissioner general, has revealed.
Despite tax arrears worth Frw 28 billion, statistics at RRA indicate that 8,000 out of the 15,000 registered VAT payers in the country are using the machines.
